One of the Los Angeles Lakers’ acquisitions from last season will remain a Laker; according to the Associated Press, forward Trevor Ariza has exercised his player contract option to remain with the Lakers.? Ariza appeared in 24 games for Los Angeles before breaking a bone in his right foot on January 20; he averaged during the regular season 6.5 PPG, 3.5 RPG and 1.08 SPG.
