Sources Say Conley Will Not Be Part Of Any Grizzles Deal

The “Memphis Commercial Appeal” reported Wednesday that if a deal is going to be consummated between the Memphis Grizzlies and the Miami Heat, one player who will not be involved is Grizzlies point guard Michael Conley.?Memphis is?determined to make a?deal with Miami so ?that they can get the second pick in Thursday’s draft and take Michael Beasley. However they have let Miami know early on that the one player that is untouchable is last year’s first round pick Conley. There has been much speculation, that Miami Team President is not enamored with Beasley. Miami would most likely get the number five spot, and could pick O.J. Mayo, if he is till on the board at number five.

    Obviously Grizzlies are in rebuilding mode.They want to hang on to the young stars and trade off the old ones.I don’t blame them for keeping Conley , he has too much talent.As far as Beasley goes, if he’s as dominant in the pros as he was in college that is a great pick for Memphis.
