Reports Say Agent Zero Has Two Offers To Choose From

The “Washington Times” reported Tuesday that Washington Wizards guard Gilbert Arenas was presented with two offers on the first day of free agency in the NBA. The veteran according to the reports was offered max deals by the Wizards and the Golden State Warriors. Washington who has the “Bird Rights” to Arenas was able to offer a six year pact to “Agent Zero” reportedly worth $127 million. The Warriors offered a five year deal at a reported sum of $101 million. The Wizards are the only team in the Association that can offer Arenas a six year contract. The?Warriors got in on the bidding after veteran point guard Baron Davis?opted out of the last year of his deal with Golden State. Davis and Golden State coach Don Nelson have been?reported ?to be not on the best of terms with each other. Arenas told reporters during the season that he and Antawn Jamison had an arrangement so that they could both be back in Wizards uniforms. Jamison has reportedly reached agreement with the team, lending one to believe that Arenas will soon follow suit.
