The “South Florida Sun-Sentinel” has reported that the Miami Heat has signed free agent veteran power forward James Jones to a five year deal. The deal reportedly would pay the former Miami Hurricane $4 million next?season. The reports say that the final?three years of the contract would be conditional, as?the Summer of 2010 could find some big name players available. Jones played last season for the Portland Trail Blazers, he had previously played in Indiana for two seasons, and spent two more with Phoenix.
