Magic Sign Pietrus To Four Year Pact

The “Orlando Sentinel” has reported that the Orlando Magic have signed free agent swing man Mickael Pietrus to a four year deal believed to be worth $25 million. Pietrus who just completed his fifth season in the Association, has played his entire career for the Golden State Warriors who drafted him with the number 11 pick in the 2003 NBA Draft. Pietrus who has played at both small forward and shooting guard is expected to be the starting shooting guard with Orlando.? The?native of Guadeloupe has averaged 8.6 points, 3.4 rebounds, per game in his career.

    I liked Pietrus while he was playing for the Warriors, but after watching him all season I don’t know how effective he can be as a starter…
