The “Houston Chronicle” reported Friday that the Houston Rockets have signed veteran free agent Brent Barry to a contract for next season. According to the report the Rockets used their “biannual exception” to sign the former member of the San Antonio Spurs. This leaves their mid-level slot open to sign their own restricted free agent Carl Landry. Barry is 36 years old, and just completed his 13th season in the Association. He came into the NBA in 1995 has a career shooting percentage of 46.1% from the field, and 40.7% from outside the arc. Barry has been with San Antonio since 2004.
