The “Sacramento Bee” reported Thursday that the Sacramento Kings have rejected an offer by the Dallas Mavericks that would have sent Ron Artest to the “Lone Star State.” The report states that the Mavericks offered Jerry Stackhouse and Brandon Bass for “Tru-Warrior.” ?Sacramento reportedly would want Josh Howard included in the deal, which Dallas is unlikely to do.? Artest last week asked to be traded from the Kings, days after he had declined to opt out of the last year of his contract.
