House And Allen Back with Celtics For Two Year Deals

The “Boston Globe” reported Monday that the Boston Celtics will be bringing back two of their key reserves from the team that won the NBA Finals last month. The paper says that the Celtics will have guards Eddie House and Tony Allen in the fold for the next two seasons. House, signed a two year deal, but?according to reports the?veteran can opt out of the deal for the second season. House who?just completed his eighth season in the Association will earn $2.7 million next season, and $2.9 million if he does not opt out for the following campaign. Allen who was drafted in the first round of the 2004 NBA Draft by the “Green Team” will reportedly earn $2.5 million per season for both years of the deal. Last week Boston, saw another key player James Posey sign as a free agent with the New Orleans Hornets.
