LBJ Tweaks Ankle During Team USA Practice Session

The “Associated Press” reported Tuesday that Cleveland Cavaliers All-Star forward LeBron James suffered what is being termed a mild sprain of his right ankle during a Team USA practice session Tuesday. LBJ incurred the injury when he landed on Seattle SuperSonics’ Kevin Durant foot during a scrimmage against a Las Vegas area high school team. Team USA head coach Mike Krzyzewski said he would have a better feel for the extent of the injury but said he was not all that concerned after speaking with James. Krzyzewski told reporters “He thinks it’s a mild sprain. Our trainers think it’s a mild sprain. So we’ll find out tomorrow. But I don’t think it’s anything serious. Obviously, we’ll look and see what happens tomorrow.”
