Telfair Re-Signs With T-Wolves

You know the old saying “the third time’s the charm“? Well apparently for Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Seabastian Telfair, it has?been more than a cliche, it’s?become reality. The “Associated Press” reported Wednesday that Telfair has signed a mult-year pact with the team. ?Telfair signed a contract that will keep him in a T-Wolves uniform for at least two seasons, with a player option for the third. Telfair, who was drafted by Portland in the first round of 2004 NBA Draft, had a controversy filled two years with the Trail Blazers. Traded to the Boston Celtics in the Summer of 2006, the guard quickly wore out his welcome with the “Green Team“.? Telfair was traded to Minnesota in the deal that sent Kevin Garnett to Boston, and gained the confidence of head coach Randy Wittman. The Brooklyn, New York native has averaged 7.8 points, 3.8 assists, per game in four seasons in the Association.
