The “San Francisco Chronicle” reported Thursday that Golden State Warriors Vice President and head of Basketball Operations Chris Mullin has said that there is no truth to the rumor that veteran forward Al Harrington wants to be traded. Harrington who was drafted in the 1998 NBA Draft by the Indiana Pacers is in his second tour of duty with the Warriors. The veteran power forward played in 81 games last season for Golden State and started 59. Mullin said that Harrington has expressed nothing but positives in their conversations. Mullin told reporters “I saw him recently, and he seemed fine. Right now, in my mind, I think he’s an important part of team.”
