Nuggets Bring The Birdman Back To The Nest

The “Denver Post” reported Thursday that the Denver Nuggets have signed veteran Chris Andersen to a one year contract, reportedly for $998,000. This will be the second stint for?”The Birdman“?in Denver, he played with the Nuggets from 2001-2004. Andersen who sat out two years for violating Association drug policies, the veteran was re-instated by the NBA this past Spring. Andersen played for the New Orleans Hornets but appeared in only five contests. Andersen who appeared twice during NBA All-Star Weekend in the Slam Dunk Competition has averaged 5.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, per game during his career.
