Gomes Back With T-Wolves After Getting Multi-Year Pact
Posted by Jeff Sack under NBA Free Agents
The “Minneapolis Star Tribune” reported Friday that the Minnesota Timberwolves have signed restricted free agent small forward Ryan Gomes to a multi-year contract. Financial terms of the deal have not been made public but it is reported to be a three year pact. Gomes who was a second round pick by the Boston Celtics in the 2005 NBA Draft, came to Minnesota last Summer as part of the deal that sent Kevin Garnett to the Celtics. He is the third of the T-Wolves players who became free agents on July 1 that the team has re-signed. Earlier Minnesota came to terms with forward Craig Smith and guard Sebastian Telfair.
