Team USA Now 2-0 In Olympics Trounce Angola 97-76

Team USA guard Dwyane Wade came off the bench Tuesday and led his squad with 19 points, as Team USA defeated the National team from Angola 97-76. The win?gives the Americans their second straight victory in?the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Wade was one of four members of his team to score in double figures, as USA shot 55.9% (38-68) from the floor for the game.
The USA took a commanding 29-18 lead at the end of the first quarter, and basically the rout was on. The margin of victory would have been much larger, but Angola finally came alive in the fourth quarter. Angola?outscored Team USA 23-16 in the final period, but it was?far too little, far too late.
Wade led the Americans with 19 points, 5 rebounds, 1 steal in the victory. Center Dwight Howard scored 14 points, 3 rebounds, 2 blocks, 1 assist. LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony each scored 12 points, LBJ adding 5 assists, 3 steals, 2 rebounds, 1 block. Anthony also contributed 6 rebounds, 1 block.? Guard Carlos Morais led all scorers?as he put in 24 points, for Angola. Team USA?faces Greece in their next game.
