ESPN.com reported Friday that the San Antonio Spurs have reached an agreement with veteran?free agent forward Michael Finley. Terms of the contract were not available, and the deal is subject to approval by the Association. Finley reportedly had explored options with the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the New Orleans Hornets, but according to the report his decision came down to the Spurs, or the Boston Celtics.?The NBA Champions were apparently interested in the veteran filling the role that James Posey had with them this past season. Posey signed a deal with the Hornets last month. Finley just completed season number 13 in the Association,?his third with San Antonio. He has career averages of 16.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.2 assists.
