The “Miami Herald” reported Monday that the Miami Heat may have an interest in free agent guard Shaun Livingston to help them at the point guard position. Livingston is also been rumored to be drawing interest by the Golden State Warriors who will start the season without Monta Ellis. Ellis who was hurt in a pick-up game in his home town was looked to be the heir to former starter Baron Davis who is now with the Los Angeles Clippers. Livingston has not played since February 26, 2007, when he blew out his knee while playing for the Clippers against the Charlotte Bobcats. According to the report from Miami Heat President Pat Riley feels with the addition of veteran center Jamaal Magliore his team is now set in the front court. He is now concentrating on back court depth. The Heat was one of a number of teams that saw Livingston workout in Chicago last month.
