The air inside the gym where the Portland Trail Blazers are holding training camp, may have briefly vanished Monday. The “Portland Tribune” reported that the Trail Blazers center Greg Oden fell to the floor in pain, during the first of two a day practices. The first though of all in attendance was it was his knee was hurt again. Oden who was the number one pick in the 2007 NBA Draft, missed the entire season last year due to hurting his knee in training camp. Oden was so severely injured, not long after he had micro-fracture surgery, and was lost for the entire season.

Oden according to the “Portland Tribune” was taken out of the practice after trying to move teammate Joel Przybilla from the lane when he tweaked his right ankle. There has been no talk about when Oden will be cleared to practice from Portland, however the injury should not leave him on the side lines for long.
