Magic To Be Studio Analyst For ESPN, ABC

There will be a new member of the in-studio round table during NBA broadcasts this upcoming season on ESPN and ABC.  Basketball Hall of Fame member and former Los Angeles Lakers guard Earvin “Magic” Johnson has signed a deal and will be part of the crew during all ESPN, and ABC telecasts. The networks have announced that Magic will work mainly with Stuart Scott, Michael Wilbon, and Jon Barry (Does that mean no Stephen A. Smith? Hallelujah!!) Johnson who has worked the past seven seasons for TNT, said he was making the switch primarily to cover the NBA Finals. Magic said “After playing in so many of them, now hopefully I get to bring some expertise to what both teams are doing.”
