Vujacic Will Miss 10-14 Days With Fractured Ankle

The Los Angeles Lakers announced on their team website that guard Sasha Vujacic will miss 10-14 days with a fractured left ankle. The guard who signed a multi-year contract with the team in the off season was thought to have sprained the ankle the first day of training camp. A MRI revealed an avulsion fracture was causing the pain. Los Angeles plays their NBA season opener against the Portland Trail Blazers on October 28.
