Nash Tweaks Ankle May Miss Friday Preseason Game

The “Associated Press” has reported that Phoenix Suns point guard Steve Nash tweaked his right ankle Wednesday night in a preseason contest against the Atlanta Hawks. Nash suffered the injury during the first quarter of the game, was taken out and did not return. After the game Nash was walking around the Suns locker room according to reporters without a visible limp. Nash’s ankle was just wrapped in an ace bandage according to reports. Phoenix team spokewswoman Julie Fie told reporters that Nash may be kept in street clothes for precautionary measures as the Suns take on the Denver Nuggets in Syracuse, New York Friday.
