As if the Los Angeles Clippers need another injury on their roster, it is being reported by the Sporting News that point guard Baron Davis is scheduled to visit a hand specialist on Monday (today); if surgery is recommended for the injured hand, Davis could miss between 4-to-6 weeks, based on multiple reports.
Davis had originally injured his hand on Friday; subsequent X-rays showed no breaks, but should there be any ruptured tendons, then surgery would be required. Davis signed a 5-year deal with the Clippers after spending the 2007 campaign with the Golden State Warriors.
