The “Associated Press” reported Tuesday that former Boston Celtics Team Owner Harry Mangurian Jr. passed away on Sunday after a long battle with leukemia. Mangurian died at Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Florida at the age of 82. The Rochester, N.Y. native began a successful family owned furniture store, and was also a horse breeder. He owned the Celtics from 1979-1983, and won a NBA title in 1981.  He is survived by his wife Dorothy and two daughters. We at Slam Dunk Central extend our condolences to his family and friends.
