You want more evidence that New York Knicks guard Stephon Marbury‘s days with the team are numbered? According to Kate Fagan of the Philadelphia Inquirer, the troubled guard on Friday night was placed on the inactive list by the team prior to their game against the Philadelphia 76ers. Knicks coach Mike D’Antoni said that until something changes, Marbury will remain inactive.
The coach also stated that he has three guards who would log at least 30 minutes each, leaving what minutes are left to Marbury, or what is more likely, to reserve Mardy Collins. Marbury, despite his inactive status, will still earn $22 million this season.
