The NBA announced Monday that Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade was named the Eastern Conference Player Of The Week for games played between November 17-23. Dallas Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki received the honor in the Western Conference.

D-Wade helped the Heat to a 2-1 record during the week, with some absolutely amazing numbers. Wade averaged an Association best of 32.3 points per game, 9.7 assists, 4.3 rebounds, 3.3 blocks per contest. Basically the only thing he did not do was sell popcorn during the games! Nowitzki who won the honor for the ninth time in his career helped the Mavericks to a 3-0 week. He averaged 27.0 points, 10.3 boards per game.
