New Orleans Hornets All-Star point guard Chris Paul was given the honor in the Western Conference.

LBJ averaged 27.8 ppg shooting 49.1%, 7.2 boards, and 6.4 assists, while helping Cleveland attain the second best record in the Eastern Confernce at 14-3. CP3 averaged 20.3 points, and led the league in assists with 11.6, and steals with 2.8 per contest. Paul was also credited with 2 triple-doubles, and 10 double-doubles for the month. New Orleans ended the month with a 9-6 record.
