Sixers Will Be Brand-Less For a Month After Dislocating Shoulder

The “Associated Press“ reported on Thursday that Philadelphia 76ers power forward Elton Brand will be on the shelf for about the next month after dislocating his right shoulder during Philadelphia’s Wednesday night win over the Milwaukee Bucks. The veteran who the Sixers signed as a free agent last Summer suffered a fracture and a tear of the shoulder, according to a spokesman for the team. It does not appear that Brand will need to undergo surgery. Phialdelphia signed the former member of the Los Angeles Clippers to a reported five year deal said to be worth $80 million. The Sixers currently sport an 11-14 record.
