Posted by Jeff Sack under NBA Game Recap

Brandon Roy scored a game high 32 points, LaMarcus Aldridge added 21, and Greg Oden recorded a double-double, as the Portland Trail Blazers rallied in the second half to defeat the Toronto Raptors Saturday night 102-89. The victory pulls Portland to within a half game of Northwest Division leaders the Denver Nuggets, and ended the 2 game winning streak of the Raptors.
Both teams played well in the opening quarter, with the Raptors leading at the end of the period 28-26. Toronto had an 11 point lead cut to just 8 points, as Travis Outlaw drained a 50 foot trey at the buzzer, the Raptors would reach the half on top by the score of 57-49. The team from North of the border looked like they left their offense in the locker room in the third quarter, and Portland would hold a slim 69-67 lead heading into the final 12 minutes of play.
Chris Bosh hit the opening bucket of the fourth tying the game at 69-69, but that would be their last chance to have a share of the lead, as the Blazers would have a healthy lead of 89-76 with 4:37 left to play as B-Roy knocked down a long range jump shot. Toronto never came close to getting back into the contest.
