Captain Jack Out 2 Weeks With Sore Hammy

The “Associated Press” reported Tuesday that one of the leading scorers on the Golden State Warriors will be out for a bit as a team spokesman announced that swingman Stephen Jackson is due to be out about 2 weeks because of a strained right hamstring.

The injury took place against the Utah Jazz on Monday when after Deron Williams fought through several screens and scored, Jackson came up limping; as one would expect, Jackson did not return.  This is the second injury for Jackson this season, the first being a sprained left hand; prior to this most recent injury, Jackson was averaging 19.0 PPG and 6.0 APG.
