The Los Angeles Lakers received a bit of good news when it was discovered that his right knee injury is not serious, according to the Associated Press; Odom, who was injured during the second quarter of Tuesday night’s loss to the New Orleans Hornets, was examined by Dr. Steve Lombardo. An MRI discovered a bruised knee. It is possible that Odom could be available for Friday’s game at the Staple Center when they host the Indiana Pacers; prior to his injury, Odom was averaging 8.8 PPG, 6.1 RPG and 26 minutes per game.
