The “Associated Press” reported Wednesday that Milwaukee Bucks center Andrew Bogut is expected to be out at least 8 weeks as he recovers from a stress fracture in his back. The injury was discovered earlier this week as the Bucks pivot man underwent a series of tests to determine the source of back pain. Team doctors do not believe that the Australian native will need surgery, they are prescribing rest and an exercise regimen. Bogut was selected by the Bucks with the first pick in the 2005 NBA Draft. He has averaged 11.7 points, and 10.3 rebounds through his career. Milwaukee lost the services of Michael Redd last month for the season when he blew out his knee.
