The “Associated Press” reported Tuesday that Dallas Mavericks veteran guard Jason Terry will be out indefinitely after undergoing surgery to repair his left hand. Terry suffered a fracture of the fourth metacarpal in his non-shooting hand. The procedure was to stabilize the fractured bone so it will heal properly. The guard now in his tenth season in the Association, hurt his hand some time during the first half of the contest Saturday night between the Mavericks and the Chicago Bulls. Terry who has been with Dallas since 2004, is the second leading scorer for his club this season, as he has averaged 19.9 points per game.
