Jason Richardson 2.16a

I am sorry to say that Phoenix Suns guard Jason Richardson has lost a lot of respect in this corner. A motor vehicle, when handled improperly,  is a weapon;  there is no simpler way of putting it. To endanger oneself, is bad enough; to put others in jeopardy is inexcusable.  However, to be driving a car 90 MPH in a 35 MPH zone with your own unrestrained three year old son in the vehicle is beyond reprehensible.

The “Associated Press” reported Monday that the Suns have suspended J-Rich for Tuesday night’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers, after he was stopped by Scottsdale, AZ. police and charged with driving 90 MPH in a 35 MPH zone. Richardson’s three year old son was in the vehicle without any safety restraints, in the back seat of the car when Richardson was pulled over. Richardson will also lose the game’s pay which will total $111,111. He is very lucky that is all he lost.
