The “Cleveland Plain Dealer” has reported that Cleveland Cavaliers rookie forward J.J. Hickson is expected to be out of action for as long as the next 2-3 weeks. Reports out of Cleveland are that the former player from North Carolina State has been hampered with pain in his lower back. Team doctors do not believe that it is more serious than muscle soreness and are hoping that rest will be all that is needed. Hickson has played in 62 out of the Cavaliers’ 78 games this season. He has averaged 4.0 points and 2.7 rebounds in his first NBA campaign.
