The “Arizona Republic“ has reported that Phoenix Suns veteran forward Grant Hill would like to sign up for another tour of duty with the team once his contract expires in the off-season. Hill signed a 2 year deal before last season with the Suns and his health has allowed him to return some luster back to his career.

Hill told reporters that as long as he feels that Phoenix management is committed to winning he would like to stay with the team. Hill said “It depends on what the goals and objectives are. I think we can still be competitive in the West. My gut tells me they want to continue to compete in the West. I get the feeling they want me back and I want to be back.”

Earlier this week teammate Shaquille O’Neal questioned whether Phoenix owner Robert Sarver does have a win at all costs mentality. The veteran center talked about the fact that he believed Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has that mind-set but he is not sure Sarver does. Phoenix will not make the NBA Playoffs this season.
