Are Wizards Ready To Flip Over Saunders?

The “Washington Post” reported Monday that the Washington Wizards may have settled on a new head coach, and he could be in place by sometime next week. According to reports the man that Wizards General Manager Ernie Grunfeld has his eyes on is former Pistons and T-Wolves head coach Flip Saunders. Saunders was terminated by the Pistons last season after the team lost to the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals. Saunders is one of the most successful coaches in the Association during the regular season. Unfortunately that has not been the case in the Post Season as he has failed to get any of his teams past the Eastern Conference Finals.  Grunfeld dismissed former head coach Eddie Jordan earlier in the campaign.
