As was expected, according to the Associated Press, Rookie of the Year guard Derrick Rose of the Chicago Bulls and Memphis Grizzlies guard O.J. Mayo were unanimous choices on the All-Rookie team. Below are the selections:
First team – Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose, Memphis Grizzlies guard O.J. Mayo, Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook, New Jersey Nets center Brook Lopez, Miami Heat forward Michael Beasley
Second team – Los Angeles Clippers guard Eric Gordon, Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Love, Miami Heat guard Mario Chalmers, Memphis Grizzlies center Marc Gasol, Portland Trail Blazers guard Rudy Fernandez, Charlotte Bobcats guard D.J. Augustin
