Kwame Brown’s Agent Says His Client Will Weigh His Options
Posted by Jeff Sack under NBA Free Agents, NBA News, NBA Rumors

The “Detroit Free Press” reported on Friday that NBA Player agent Mark Bartelstein has told reporters that his client Detroit Pistons center Kwame Brown will weigh his options before deciding if he wants to play next season for the Pistons. Brown has until July 1, to decide whether he wants to exercise a player option to play in Motown for $4.1 million next season or become a free agent.
Bartelstein said that he and his client would sit down soon and discuss which course of action to take. He told reporters “We’ll do it sometime in the next month and a half. When the season’s over I think it’s good to get away for a while and clear your head before making a decision. The economy affects everything and you have to be cognizant of what goes on in the world. We’ll evaluate everything, but the most important thing is for Kwame to grow as a player. We’ll weigh it all and come to a decision.”
