Slam Dunk Central 2009 NBA Mock Draft

Checking in at #15 are the Detroit Pistons.  I think it is safe to say that they are in – if they aren’t there already – rebuild mode.  And to think it wasn’t that long ago that they were regular participants in the Eastern Conference finals.

Detroit Pistons

Strengths: Shooting guard, small forward.

Weaknesses: Center.

Inside Skinny: I expect an exodus of sorts of some of their players (Allen Iverson, Rasheed Wallace come to mind).  The rest of the Central Division hardly quakes at the center duo of Kwame Brown and Antonio McDyess (although to be fair, McDyess is really a power forward).

The Detroit Pistons draft: B.J. Mullens, Ohio State
