Last month Kobe Bryant got his first NBA Championship Title without former teammate Shaquille O’Neal. According to ESPN.com the man with the coolest nick-name in sports “Black Mamba” will be staying with the Los Angeles Lakers through next season as they are reporting he will not exercise an option that would allow him to become an unrestricted free agent.

Bryant and the Lakers defeated the Orlando Magic in the NBA Finals last month for his fourth NBA Title. According to the reports Bryant will earn a cool $23 million for the upcoming campaign. Kobe also has an option to get out of his contract the following season as well however sources are stating that the two sides will try to reach a long term deal this Summer.
