Just last year it appeared that Brazilian native Anderson Varejao’s days with the Cleveland Cavaliers were numbered. According to the “Associated Press” the power forward will be staying in Cleveland for quite a while. The Cavaliers have signed the man known as “Wild Thing”  to a reported six year deal sid to be worth $42.5 million. Only the first five years of the deal are guaranteed but with incentives and if the sixth season is picked up Varejao could earn close to $50 million. Cavaliers General Manager Danny Ferry told reporters that both sides wanted to make this deal work.  Cleveland according to reports also appear to be on the verge of signing Anthony Parker and are also looking to put Channing Frye on the roster.
