J-Kidd Re-Ups With Mavericks For Three Year Hitch
Posted by Jeff Sack under NBA Free Agents

The “Associated Press” has reported that the Dallas Mavericks have come to terms with veteran point guard Jason Kidd on a contract that is expected to keep him in the “Big D” for the next three seasons. Kidd now on his second tour of duty with the Mavericks came to the team in a trade from the New Jersey Nets that took place before the trading deadline in February of 2008.
J-Kidd just completed NBA season number 15 at the age of 37 and this in all probability will be his last deal as a player. Kidd who should be a lock for the Basketball Hall Of Fame has averaged 13.8 points, 9.2 assists and 6.8 rebounds per game in his career. The three year deal is reportedly worth $25 million.
