Warriors’ Watson Shelved 1-To-3 Weeks

As if the Golden State Warriors’ contentious guard depth chart needed further tweaking, the team will be without what I consider one of their true “point guards” as the Associated Press is reporting that C.J. Watson will miss between one-to-three weeks due to a sprained ligament in his right knee.

Apparently Watson was injured Tuesday during the team’s first practice of the season; he underwent an MRI on Wednesday and was diagnosed with a sprained medial collateral ligament.
