Every marketing department operated by every NBA franchise have nuances and other creative ways to attempt to gain added support, some more creative than others. And the Milwaukee Bucks are no different in that regard. But they have dome things a bit differently, according to NBA.COM.
The Bucks are using one of their players in their most recent marketing campaign; the scheme works like this. Andrew Bogut has purchased 100 lower-level seats at the Bradley Center; the purpose of this is a contest sponsored by the team that allows for Bucks fans to score some of these tickets. Below are the specifics:
Who:
Face painting, wig wearing, jersey sportin’, red raging, green bleeding Bucks Fans age 18 and older.
What:
Open audition…to show in 30 seconds or less why you have what it takes to join Squad 6! If Andrew and his squadron leader like what they see, you’ll get one FREE lower level season ticket and the privilege to showcase your die-hard dedication at each and every 09-10 Bucks home game.
Where:
Bradley Center East Lobby, Enter Lobby A
When:
Tuesday, October 27
Registration – 6:30 pm
Auditions – 7 to 9 pm
Why:
Because you love this team. Because you love this town. Because you look good in your red and green wig. Because you have a crazy loud cheering voice. Because you make the brightest, most creative Bucks signs. Because you bang a drum like nobody’s business. Because you can distract and agitate LeBron, Kobe & even D Wade! Bring it on NBA – Squad 6 is in Session!!!
