Tuesday night’s game between the Chicago Bulls and Sacramento Kings was a reunion of sorts as former Kings John Salmons and Brad Miller came by for a visit. The visit was pleasant, especially for Salmons as he scored 23 points in leading Chicago to the easy 101-87 win over Sacramento at Arco Arena.

The first quarter was relatively close as the Kings led by no more than 3 before the Bulls took the lead at 22-21 on a Joakim Noah dunk; Brad Miller would help Chicago take a double-digit lead on a three-pointer with 7:43 remaining in the first half. The Bulls would up their advantage to 14 on a pair of Noah free throws with a tick left on the game clock, giving them a 61-47 lead going into halftime. The third quarter was evenly played as both teams scored 25 points each which gave the Bulls the same 14-point lead going into the final 12 minutes; Luol Deng iced the game for Chicago on a 17-foot jumper with about 9:56 left in the game.

Chicago had six players in double-digits, led by Salmons with 23 points (including three 3-pointers), 5 rebounds, an assist, 4 steals and a block while Deng added 16 with 10 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and a block; Noah pitched in 15 with 14 rebounds, an assist, a steal and 2 blocks.

Donte Greene was impressive for Sacramento as he led the team’s scoring with 24 points, 5 rebounds and a steal while Tyreke Evans added 20 with 4 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals and 3 blocks; Beno Udrih chipped in 13 with 2 rebounds, 5 assists and a steal. Chicago (6-4) plays again on Thursday when they take the short flight south to Los Angeles to take on the Lakers while Sacramento (5-5) travels to Dallas to face the Mavericks Friday.
