Bogut Out 2-4 Weeks With Leg Injury

Andrew Bogut

Just when the Milwaukee Bucks were getting hot and making noise in the Eastern Conference, they received a bit of bad news as according to the Associated Press, center Andrew Bogut will be sidelined from anywhere between 2 to 4 weeks with a left leg injury.

An MRI confirmed the injury on Thursday; Bucks general manager John Hammond said that Bogut suffered the injury during Milwaukee’s win against New Jersey Wednesday, leaving the game in the fourth quarter. Prior to the injury, Bogut was having a decent campaign, averaging 16.1 PPG and 9.2 RPG. Look for Dan Gadzuric to take over for Bogut at center with possibly Kurt Thomas getting backup minutes at the 5.
