Depending on how much healing has actually taken place to his thumb, it is entirely possible that Chicago Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich could return to the hardwood when the Bulls take on the Atlanta Hawks Wednesday (today), according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
The veteran guard has missed the last six games with a sprained left thumb; as a result, Derrick Rose and John Salmons have seen an increase in minutes played.

Big for the Bulls. They need Hinrich’s stability. They have talent but need direction this year. Rose is great but the soph jinx has hit.
