Posted by Jeff Sack under NBA Game Recap

Just 25 games into the campaign it has already been a long tough season for the Minnesota Timberwolves. When you go 3-21 in your first 24 the season is not going to provide you with a whole lot of highlights. However they had plenty of them in game 25 in Utah as they played the Jazz Monday night. As a matter of fact; they were in like Flynn! Jonny Flynn that is who led the T-Wolves with 28 points including scoring the winning basket as Minnesota squeaked by Utah 110-108.
Flynn was one of four Timberwolves players in double figures; three of whom exceed 20 points each while Kevin Love and Al Jefferson would record double-doubles in the victory. The win stopped a Minnesota losing streak and came despite a brilliant game from Jazz point guard Deron Williams who scored 38 points.

Minnesota would pull ahead in the third as they held the Jazz to just 17 points in the period and took the lead heading into the fourth with the score 88-82. Utah slowly and methodically dug their way out of the hole they had put themselves in and would take their first lead of the period at 104-103 as Williams drained an outside jumper with 3:46 left to play.
