Eddy Curry Finally Gets Time On The Court

Paul sent this in:

The moment Knick fans have been waiting for has finally arrived.  It was recently announced that Curry will be back on the court; unfortunately it won’t be at MSG, but at the Cook County Court House.

For the second time in little over a month, an arrest warrant has been issued for Curry.  His legal issues stem from failing to pay the remaining $100,000 in a $660,00 agreement from a prior civil suit from 2001, after he was sued for allegedly having sex with an underage girl.

Entering his final year of his $60 million dollar contract that has been haunting the Knicks for over three years now, Curry showed promise this summer as he was seen working out at the MSG Training Center in Westchester.  Curry’s promise quickly turned back to disappointment when he failed to show up with other Knicks veterans during the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, after promising to do so.

A source at  www.suntimes.com has reported that Curry has already received 50% of his $11.2M salary for the 2010-11 earlier this month, so why hasn’t he simply paid the money that is owed?  If this doesn’t puzzle the minds of people who’ve been following Curry both on and off the court, nothing will.  And just to kick Curry when he’s down, it’s been a lot easier to keep up with Curry news that occurs off the court, since he’s been on the court for the Knicks in only 10 out of the past 164 games.
