They said all the Heat players are in the best shape of their professional NBA careers. Lowest body fat percentages. Let’s see how much of that will play a factor down the stretch. Loose balls, hustle plays, fast break opportunities. Miami needs to meet Boston at the punch of attack.
Udonis Haslem took so much less to stay in Miami. He’s playing the starting power foward, not Bosh. One of the most underappreciated players in the Association. Cannot measure his value.
If I’m Boston I ride Glen Davis all the way through this game, and for the rest of the season. He not only can hit a jumper, but he can post up, and get to the line and convert. Plus, he keeps possessions alive and battles on the glass.
How many charges have been committed in this game? Defense. Defense. Defense. I would hate to ref this contest.
Paul Pierce is known for his mid-range game driving right with the game on the line. He usually cashes in on game-winners at an astounding rate. But how about his pull-up threes in transition? Daggers.
Can the Heat trade for Doc Rivers? I wonder if Pat Riley wants to coach again. I’m sure he’d love to be on the sidelines for this one.
I was wrong concerning my stance on Chris Bosh. He’s not ready for the spotlight. Prime time games look for faze the former Raptor. On the other hand, Garnett loves the limelight. How can you not enjoy watching him play with his intensity and fire?
Both teams are shooting very well from downtown. I think this is what could separate the Celtics from the Heat is their shooting from beyond the arc.
Paul Pierce is incredible. He feeds off of the home crowd. One of the top three clutch performers in the game today.
Does the Celtics defense ever let up? The defensive rotations are out of this world. They rotate so well and play defense like no other team. The only way to beat this defense is with the three-point shot. Right now, Miami isn’t there yet.
