The Portland Trail Blazers certainly didn’t waste any time finding someone to back up Marcus Camby. Saturday found the team signing joiurneyman Sean Marks to a contract, of which the length and financial terms are not known as of the time of this posting.
Marks played in 14 games for the New Orleans Hornets last season.
Marks’ signing, at the very least, will keep him with the team until Greg Oden and Joel Przybilla recover from their respective knee surgeries. During his 10-year career, Marks has averaged an underwhelming 3.0 PPG and 2.3 RPG, hence the journeyman label affixed upon him.
